The palate succeeds in being both refreshingly vibrant and simultaneously dry. Bright effervescence with creamy lees richness from its time in the bottle, with distinct brioche and sourdough toast notes vying with lively grapefruit and citrus flavours. Elegant, restrained, taut and thrilling, it’s beautifully poised yet equally flamboyant and exuberant! A gentle nutty note lingers on the long tail.
Coral pink hue with a vigorous stream of fine bubbles. Bold strawberry and red berry fruit on the nose. There’s more of this in the mouth – with cherry, strawberry and bold red fruit on entry. The fresh, zesty lemon and citrus zip of acidity adds succulence to the mouthful. A broader creaminess then develops with signature toast and biscuit notes. Balanced and harmonious, the wine is well structured, long and complex but refreshing and vibrant throughout.
Vigorous and lively bubble with trademark string of pearls rising to the surface. Seaspray, lime zest, chalk and subtler aromas of orange peel is present on the nose. The palate is energetic and tangy with abundant crunchy green apple and lime zip on entry. That vivacity is then tempered and smoothed as the wine morphs into a rich but restrained mouthful of creamy citrus and gentle biscuit from its time on lees. Refined and elegant, it lingers on the aftertaste but never loses its lively youthfulness and seamless integration of fruit, lees and bright acidity.
Rich caramel-gold colour. Mellow whiffs of baked apple with tarte tatin spice highlights and just a delicate hint of flowers and macadamia nuts which entice on the nose. The palate is suitably spirituous with apple strudel-, marzipan-, caramel- and baked biscuit-flavours. Pleasant balance and gentle rich praline notes which linger for ages.

A string of fine pearl bubbles rises steadily and vigorously in the demure blush and partridge eye-coloured wine. Subtle strawberry, raspberry and cherry aromas are brushed with a light floral as well as a leesy, toasty note. Entry on the palate is crisp, fresh, and vibrantly zesty, with ruby grapefruit and lemon as well as understated red fruit notes. The lovely zip and intensity of the acidity are tempered by the broader, creamy lees and biscuit notes, along with a marmalade tang on the tail. A chalky grip adds body to the layered palate. Rewardingly long aftertaste.
Spicy, nutty and ripe with sweet prune, blueberry and raising florality on the nose. All the above characteristics are echoed on the palate. Lovely cinnamon and nutmeg with a touch of fiery ginger spice too. Integrated, long and statuesque, the oak supports the rich porty fruit flavour. Structured, layered and complex. Pecan nuts and fruit pudding flavours linger long but finish dry.
Pure, unadulterated heady litchi perfume! No Ersatz essence notes whatsoever. Light potpourri whiff adds dimension and depth to the nose. The same holds true for the flavour. Undoubtedly distilled litchi spirit, it’s tropically fruity with an almost Turkish Delight exoticism. It’s smooth and gentle without any harsh spirit bite or aggression. The spirit lingers long in the mouth, finishing dry yet leaving a beautiful distinct flavour memory.
Aromas of apricot fruit leather, caramel and polished oak with a touch of resin. The palate is rich and spirited with lovely warmth and breadth. Flavours of praline, brûléed sugar or dark caramel are discernible alongside the apricot, dried citrus peel and roasted nuts. Smooth textured and polished, it is refined and cohesive. There’s even a suggestion of ginger preserve. Beautiful integration of oak and spirit which makes the rich flavours linger long.
Pale lemon colour, bright and clear, with a hypnotic steady stream of vigorous, fine bubbles. The nose offers up subtle orange blossom with marmalade and oyster shell nuances mingling with baked sourdough bread. Vibrant, energetic fizz with grapefruit, lemon and lime vivacity in the mouth. A trace of salinity is present too, adding to the enjoyment of the crunchy zip and vitality. It then segues into a richer, creamier, genteel and silky smooth mouthful of lees, toast and baked bread tinged with a twist of citrus zest. The maritime notes of briny sea air and oyster shell are present too. Succulent and fresh but also taut, crisp and dry. Lovely tension and restraint but with power and generosity too. Seamless integration and marvelous refinement and persistence of flavour.
Understated peach and nectarine fruit with a light brush of spice and elderflower. Those same stone fruit flavours can be found on the palate with ripe Golden Delicious apple and pear notes as well as the spice highlight. Impressive palate weight and density with a lees note adding body and breadth. Balanced, rounded and structured but also fresh and lively due to good acid levels. Complex and long.
Vivid aromas of strawberry, cherry and blueberry – ripe and plump – on the nose. Those same lively berry flavours are found on the palate, joined by tangy cranberry and a light sprinkle of spice. Succulent and juicy, the wine is supple, soft-textured and approachable – but also deceptively simple as there is a deeper, darker, earthy licorice note that unfurls on the long tail. Balanced and poised, all elements are harmonious.
Mesmerising golden incandescent colour. The nose offers trademark floral Muscat perfume with an intriguing liquorice edge. Then there’s honeycomb, sun ripe dried mango and sultana notes too. There’s more to the palate than simple rich, honeyed sweetness – which it has in abundance. Subtle macadamia and roasted pecan nuttiness with a cookie dough element can be discerned, along with the ripe sultana fruitiness. Fortification is well handled and although sweet, it’s also fresh, beautifully balanced and long.
